Kareem Hijaz ,9, has a message for all children in the UAE.
“I would like to invite all the kids to join judo classes as it’s the most enjoyable sport in the world,” he said.
Kareem joined Core Judo Coaching UAE when the academy began at the start of the year and the Dubai International Academy found it was the sport for him.
“I ride my bike and swim and never really enjoyed any other sports until I have tried judo and fell in love with it,” he said.
“For now my biggest challenge I’m facing is passing the grading for a red belt.”
Kareem said he loves learning throws from his coach Aaron Turner, and has developed his own technique for the ouchi-gari throw.
