A Dubai school student has become one of the youngest certified yoga instructors in the world following the completion of the Yoga Teacher Training Course (YTTC).
Reyansh Surani, a 9-year-old student at GEMS Modern Academy, has recently completed over 200 hours of training in order to complete the YTT course which now allows him to teach yoga as a fully qualified instructor.
Reyansh completed the course in Rishkesh (India) with Anand Shekhar Yoga, a Yoga Alliance certified education provider in his homeland at the tender age of 9 years and 218 days, making him one of the youngest yoga teachers in the world.
Reyansh’s mother Aashna is incredibly proud of her son, saying his passion for yoga comes from watching family members when he was growing up.
“He has been into yoga nearly all of his life. Whenever he saw his granny and I practicing yoga, he was always interested by it’s uniqueness. He has been practicing it ever since.”
