Amidst the colourful dresses and smiles on the court, you dared to wander about the heights players in Active Netball’s Foundation League will reach in the future.
It is one of the first opportunities the young players have stepped on court as a starting seven and Active Netball director Susanne Skelding said they have revelled showing their pivoting and passing skills as part of a squad.
“Our Foundation League is our entry level league for our youngest netballers. For many of them it’s their first ever experience of being in a team!” she said.
“All of the fantastic players have developed so much since the beginning of the season and most importantly they have lots and lots of fun.”
The Friday morning winter league wrapped up at the weekend at Kings School Al Barsha, and the summer season moves indoors to Jebel Ali School.
