Do you have a passion for sport? Are you based in 14-18 and interested in a career within the sports media industry? Are you based in UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia? If you answered yes to all three questions, the brand new GYS Youth Sports Champions programme could be for you! And did we mention it's free?

Gulf Youth Sport is an online media organisation providing coverage for school and club academy sports events across the Middle East. GYS is based in Dubai and has been operational since November 2016, covering events such as the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, The World School Games and the BSME Games since its inception.

As the leading provider of youth sports coverage in the region Gulf Youth Sport is growing all the time. We are enthusiastic about the development of young writers, photographers and videographers and we hope to be able to play a part in the emergence of new talent within the Middle East.

The GYS Youth Sports Champion programme gives young people the chance to:
- Receive training, mentoring and feedback from our GYS media professionals.
- Build up a portfolio of work, that you can present to potential universities, colleges and employers.
- Get expert advice and recruitment opportunities with UCFB, one of the United Kingdom's most well renowned sports journalism university courses.
- Play your part in promoting the youth sporting achievements of your school and local community.
