Elite Sports Academy and Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS) yesterday launched their new football kit for the 2016/17 season.
It marks the inaugural season of the new Academy format, which facilitates year-round football training for the school's competitive players, a unique feature in the UAE.
Steve Whittaker, director of Elite Sports Academy, and entering his tenth year of coaching at JESS said: "The JESS Elite football programme is one of a kind in the UAE. It provides an intense training schedule for the school's best players, which is great for their development."
U16 star (Yusuf), pictured centre, said: "It's a real privilege to be part of this great programme – all the boys are raring to go and wearing the new kits just adds to the excitement."
Mr Beasant, Head of Football at JESS, is entering his fourth football season at Arabian Ranches, and added: "I have seen so many of these players come through the ranks at JESS and they now have a truly world class football programme in their pathway. The professionalism that the Elite coaches bring is second to none and I have no doubt this will turbo-charge the player's development."
Andrew Cook, Middle-East director of Trans World Educational Experiences, said: "It's a real honour to be associated with the JESS Elite football programme, the first school football programme of it's kind in the UAE. We know how talented and professional both Ryan (JESS) and Steven (Elite) are, so we're really excited to see how the boys grow and develop both as players and as people."
