Sharjah English School and Kings’ School Al Barsha took on each other in a HomeCourt double header! With some prior virtual fixture experience behind them, Kings’ managed to take home wins in both matches.
They won the KS2 encounter 6-3 and backed this success up with a 5-2 victory in the KS3 match.
Great performances came from everyone that took part, especially Alejandra Ruiz and Larrisa De Cavalcanti who led the way for the winning school.
That matches marked Kings’ School Al Barsha’s final virtual fixtures of the season, having taken part in five matches against schools near and far.
Mammoth efforts were put in by teachers, students and IT specialists to ensure the matches went off without a hitch. Hopefully next school year, we’ll be able to cover sports safely being played in person!
