On Friday 20th April, 28 teams from Abu Dhabi and Dubai met at the new Zayed Cricket Stadium football pitches for the third annual PASS Pro Cup, organised by the ProActive Soccer School (PASS Abu Dhabi).
The event, open to players aged between 6-12 and refereed by the students from British International School Abu Dhabi (BISAD), has become a fixture on the Abu Dhabi youth football scene in recent years, with the competitive but friendly environemnt making it a family favourite.
In the end, some stunning performances from hosts PASS Abu Dhabi resulted in them taking home the under 6 and under 10 trophies, whilst close rivals Abu Dhabi Thistle held their nerve during a nail-biting penalty shootout to emerge victorious in the under 12 tournament.
