BSAK Squads Complete Intensive Weekend Training Camp at Radisson Blu Facilities Ahead of 2026/27 Campaign
The British School Al Khubairat (BSAK) put the final touches on their pre-season preparations this past weekend, heading to Al Ain for an intensive high-performance rugby training camp organized in partnership with official travel and tours partner TWEDEX.
With the new school sports season fast approaching, BSAK’s elite rugby squads spent two nights immersed in a professional sporting environment at the five-star Radisson Blu Resort Al Ain, utilizing world-class, FIFA-grade pitches to elevate their physical conditioning, tactical awareness, and squad chemistry.
FIFA-Grade Facilities and Professional Standards
The weekend retreat offered BSAK student-athletes a true professional experience. Training sessions were conducted on pristine, full-sized FIFA-standard grass pitches, allowing coaches to run high-tempo tactical drills, match simulations, and specialized positional work in ideal training conditions.
Beyond the pitch, the two-night stay at the five-star resort placed a strong emphasis on recovery, education and team development. Players had access to pitch-side ice baths and took part in expert-led sports nutrition sessions, combining theory and practical learning around fueling elite athletes. The programme also featured a range of in-house competitions and team-building activities, creating an environment that challenged the players both physically and collectively.
Every element of the camp was designed with high performance in mind, ensuring the squad returned to Abu Dhabi physically primed, better connected as a group and tactically aligned for the challenges ahead.
