Infinite Sports are commending their athletes on the way they are approaching free online classes.
With the same eagerness they’d show at a physical training cricketers, swimmers, gymnasts and footballers are all completing their programs and checking in with coaches online.
Across the board Infinite Sports has had huge engagement stemming from its social media challenges, quizzes and competitions to win prizes. Hear from each individual academy below about their thoughts on digital sports classes.
It’s Just Cricket: International Director of Cricket Sam Charnley
“This week we started our full online training programme which has been fantastic to see so many of our academy members making use of these technical and physical sessions. The coaches have loved being able to stay in contact with their teams and hope everyone is enjoying them as much as we are. To see the efforts both coaches and players are putting in to ensure contact time and the love for the game continues has been great and the feedback from parents has been brilliant. Credit to the coaches who have worked tirelessly to pull together these learning opportunities which are out of their usual comfort zones. They have learnt a lot and have really gone above and beyond for their players.”
It’s Just Football: Technical Director Paul Collins
“During this difficult and testing time for us all, the coaches and I have been delighted to see many of our players demonstrating the ability to adapt and overcome. The examples that are flooding in from our players engaging and taking on the challenges set have so far been
fantastic, and I would encourage you all to keep engaging with your coaches and sending in your efforts both from a physical and tactical perspective. We promise to make the next 12 weeks as enjoyable and engaging as the situation allows us to and we can’t wait to see you
all back across our 14 venues we have across Dubai. Stay safe and see you all soon.”
Absolute Swimming: Swim Coach Peter Lake
“The feedback we have received so far has been extremely positive! It is great for us to stay in touch with our swimmers during this online programme and also provide an opportunity for the students to interact with each other and have some fun!”
Absolute Gymnastics: Head of Gymnastics Holly Jervis
“The online training programme has been a huge success with an amazing number of young gymnasts keen to get involved with our sessions. Our social media challenges and gymnastics at home videos have been running for the last month, and we were so pleased with the interaction they received. This week we started our full online training programme which has been brilliant to see so many of our academy members making use of these technical and physical sessions. The coaches have loved being able to stay in contact with their teams and hope everyone is enjoying them as much as we are.”
