Dubai English Speaking School (DESC) completed a season of dominance in the DASSA Football leagues by completing a near clean sweep of victories in the season finale at the Sevens on Tuesday afternoon.

DESC Head of Football Paul Barratt said: “It was an incredible exciting afternoon of football, with spectators treated to high quality and at times, tense football, a real cup final atmosphere was created which the students thoroughly enjoyed on the day. The cup wins completed a memorable DESC football season, one the school are extremely proud of. We take sport seriously and understand the benefits of a positive and enjoyable football programme for our students. All the players who have represented DESC football this campaign have been superb, showing a desire to develop, commitment to the team chemistry and an attitude to work hard. Enjoyment, commitment and a winning mind-set breeds success, with the teams deserving numerous titles. We are already looking forward to next season and furthering our students’ development”.
