Ultimate Consistency: Safa Community School Clinches Overall BSME U13 Blue Championship
The BSME U13 Games Blue provided a spectacular celebration of elite school sport as 12 of the Middle East’s premier academies descended upon Dubai. After three days of high-intensity multi-sport drama, Safa Community School (SCS) produced a masterclass in all-round athletic depth to claim the coveted Overall Championship title.
Safa’s route to the summit was forged through pure dominance on the track and field. The Dubai-based school executed a clean sweep of the athletics programme, securing 1st place in both Girls’ and Boys’ Athletics. This massive points haul, paired with strong, consistent top-five brackets across the court and pitch disciplines, gave Safa the definitive edge in a fiercely contested leaderboard.
The Chasers: Horizon and Sunmarke Secure Podiums
The battle for the remaining overall podium places went down to the final rotation of fixtures. Horizon International School put together a stunning, well-rounded campaign to secure 2nd place overall. Horizon proved to be the masters of the court, capturing 1st place in Boys’ Volleyball and packing out top-four finishes in multiple sports.
Securing a hard-earned 3rd place overall was Sunmarke School. Sunmarke relied heavily on their attacking prowess and depth, picking up a vital 2nd place in Boys’ Athletics and a 3rd place finish in Boys’ Football to keep their podium ambitions alive until the final medal ceremony.

Pitch and Ring Dominance
While Safa owned the overall leaderboard, individual team sports saw other powerhouses split the silverware. Dubai British School Jumeirah Park (DBS JP) proved completely unstoppable in female team sports, executing a flawless double by winning 1st place in both Girls’ Football and Girls’ Netball.
On the boys’ side, Yasmina British Academy hit peak form during the knockout stages of the football tournament, playing lightning-fast transitional football to capture 1st place in Boys’ Football.
