Capital Supremacy: The British International School Abu Dhabi Sweeps BSME U11 Green Games Title
The BSME U11 Games 2026 Green Division crown is heading to the capital. In a spectacular showcase of junior athletic depth, The British International School Abu Dhabi (BISAD) put on an absolute masterclass in all-round consistency, comfortably securing the Overall Championship title against 13 elite regional academies.
BISAD’s victory was a testament to their balanced athletic pipeline. The Abu Dhabi powerhouse secured top finishes in four out of six core sports disciplines. They claimed 1st place in Boys’ Basketball, Girls’ Athletics, Boys’ Athletics, and Swimming. It was a relentless accumulation of points that left the rest of the field chasing silver.
The Chasers: Kent College and Brighton Secure Podiums
The battle for the remaining podium steps was an entirely Dubai-centric affair. Kent College Dubai put together a fantastic campaign to claim 2nd place overall. The school dominated the court and pitch, taking 1st place in both Girls’ Football and Girls’ Netball, driven by an MVP performance from Lucia in the netball ring.
Securing a hard-earned 3rd place overall was Brighton College Dubai. They relied heavily on their aquatic strength to edge out Ranches Primary School, picking up a massive 2nd place finish in Swimming.
Individual Excellence
While BISAD owned the team leaderboards, individual star power illuminated the division. BISAD’s track stars swept the individual honours, with Isabel named Girls’ Athletics Player of the Tournament and Teddy matching her feat for the boys.
On the football pitches, Horizon International School shook up the establishment to win 1st place in Boys’ Football, anchored by tournament MVP Omar from Safa British School. Meanwhile, Amani of The English School Kuwait took home the Girls’ Football MVP accolade.
