Ultimate Versatility: 9-Year-Old Sara Claims Five Gold Medals and Shatters All-Time Records
Every so often, a young athlete emerges who completely redefines what is possible across multiple sporting disciplines. Meet Sara, a 9-year-old Emirati phenom who has just put together one of the most statistically dominant months in junior UAE sports history.
Representing Safa Community School in the pool and training with Ultimate Athletics on the track, the young powerhouse secured a staggering five individual and team gold medals across two major championships, breaking two all-time club records in the process.
Track Royalty: The DOAA Finals Takeover
Sara’s historic run began at the Dubai Open Athletics Association (DOAA) Finals. Competing in the Under-10 girls’ division, she put on an absolute masterclass in raw sprinting speed.
Sara blasted out of the blocks in the U10 Girls’ 60m, stopping the clock at a blistering 9.72 seconds. This time did not just secure her the gold medal—it officially shattered the all-time Ultimate Athletics club record.
She followed this up by cruising to a dominant gold in the U10 150m sprint with an incredible time of 23.05 seconds. To cap off a perfect weekend, Sara anchored her Ultimate Athletics Relay Team to a third gold medal, breaking yet another all-time club record in the process.
The Aquatic Masterclass at Hamdan
What makes Sara’s athletic pedigree truly terrifying for her competition is that her talents are not limited to dry land. Earlier in the month, she traded her running spikes for a swim cap at the Dubai Schools Games Swimming Championship.
Representing the high-performance swim program at Safa Community School, Sara took to the lanes at the iconic Hamdan Sports Complex. Showcasing flawless technical discipline in the pool, she completely swept the field in her signature stroke, capturing two gold medals in both the 50m Breaststroke and the 100m Breaststroke.
A Bright Future for Emirati Sport
To achieve single gold medal success at a major Dubai championship is an achievement. To claim five golds across two entirely different elements—swimming and track sprinting—at just 9 years old marks Sara as an elite foundational asset for the future of UAE sport.
Backed by the elite training systems at Ultimate Athletics and the robust sporting blueprint at Safa Community School, this young Emirati star is just getting started.
