Set for Greatness: WSG Announces the Inaugural World School Volleyball Championships in Antalya

The World School Games Event Series has officially expanded its global footprint with the launch of its eighth signature event: The World School Volleyball Championships. Following a highly successful pilot event in November 2025, the series is heading back to the “Capital of Turkish Tourism”—Antalya—for the first full-scale edition of the tournament.
This isn’t just another school tournament; it is a professional-grade experience designed to give the stars of tomorrow a platform to compete on the world stage.
The Venue: An Olympic-Standard Stage
The championships will be hosted at the prestigious Gloria Sports Arena, the largest sports facility in Turkey and an official Olympic Training Centre.
- Live Like Pros: The facility features an on-site athlete hotel where teams will live, train, and compete in a professional “bubble.”
- Beyond the Court: When not competing on the state-of-the-art show courts, students will have access to world-class gyms, the famous ‘Icelab,’ swimming pools, and recovery saunas.
Tournament Format
The four-day event will welcome 32 teams from across the globe.
- Categories: U16 Boys, U16 Girls, U19 Boys, and U19 Girls.
- The Journey: Group stage matches followed by tiered knockout rounds, ensuring every school competes for silverware, from the main Cup to the Plate and Shield.
