GYS ARCHIVES: CRANLEIGH CROWNED CHAMPIONS: A TIGHT FINISH AT THE BSME U15 YELLOW GAMES

The Capital’s Finest: Cranleigh Abu Dhabi Clinches Overall Victory at the BSME U15 Yellow Games

The BSME U15 Yellow Games 2025 delivered one of the most competitive weekends in recent memory. Managed by TWEDEX, the event saw ten elite schools battle across multiple disciplines. In a finish that came down to the wire, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi emerged as the Overall Champions, showcasing the depth of talent within their athletic programme.

Cranleigh’s victory was built on clinical performances in the core team sports. Their 1st place finish in the Boys’ Football provided a massive points boost, while their podium finishes in Girls’ Football and Boys’ Athletics ensured they stayed ahead of a surging Arcadia British School.

The Battle for the Podium

The race for the top spot was a two-horse race until the final events. Arcadia British School (UAE) secured the Silver Medal after a dominant showing in the individual disciplines. Arcadia proved to be the team to beat on the track and the court, taking 1st place in both Girls’ Athletics and Girls’ Netball.

Rounding out the top three was St. Christopher’s School, Bahrain. Known for their sporting pedigree, the Bahrain-based school took the Bronze Medal overall. Their success was anchored by a double victory in the specialist categories, taking 1st place in both Girls’ Football and Boys’ Volleyball.

Professional Standards by TWEDEX

As with all major BSME events, the logistics were handled by TWEDEX. This partnership ensures that student-athletes can perform in an environment that mirrors professional sport.
