The Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai (RGSGD) has partnered with Inspiratus Sports District (ISD) Dubai Sports City to enhance its year-round sports offering for the whole school.
Through its partnership with ISD Dubai Sports City, RGSGD pupils will get to use top class facilities, featuring brand new tennis courts, a nine-lane athletics track and five full-size FIFA approved football pitches. As a Platinum Partner of ISD Dubai Sports City, RGSGD will have access to the facilities from 9am to 4pm on school days, giving pupils the opportunity to play sport all year round.
Craig Lamshed, Founding Principal of the Royal Grammar School Guildford Dubai, is really pleased to team up with ISD Dubai Sports City to offer students the chance to use the facilities at Sports City on a regular basis.
Lamshed said: “Sport is at the core of RGS’ offering. We are a school that is passionate about personal development through sport, so partnering with ISD Dubai Sports City to give our pupils the maximum access to the best quality sporting facilities all year round was a natural fit.
“ISD Dubai Sports City’s offering perfectly complements the outstanding facilities that RGSGD has built on campus for our pupils.”
ISD Dubai Sports City CEO Hussein Murad said: “We are delighted to welcome RGSGD to ISD Dubai Sports City. It’s great to have a partner who recognises the importance of sport in education, and who is aligned with our vision to promote healthy lifestyles through offering school children access to a wide range of sports at the region’s best facilities.
“This partnership further reflects our commitment to provide the Dubai community with a world-class sport destination and we look forward to hosting RGSGD students, parents and staff at ISD Dubai Sports City.”
RGSGD Principal Craig Lamshed added: “RGSGD appreciates the link between physical and mental wellness – it is why we have invested in building an eco-school that boasts green living walls throughout the building, as well as outstanding sporting and wellness facilities. It is our duty to offer the best facilities that help to keep our pupils and wider community happy and healthy.”
