Empire Girls Set to Take the YFL by Storm

Empire Sports Academy are set to make history as they become the first ever all-girls side to join a boys league in the Youth Football League Dubai.

With the football season set to resume with a full fixture schedule to look forward to for the first time in over a year, it’s an exciting time to be involved in the world of grassroots football.

Empire Sports Academy Director Adam Felix is really looking forward to seeing the girls in action over the course of the 2021/22 season. He says the inclusion of an all-girls side in the YFL is a positive move for youth football in Dubai.

“Empire are delighted to be the first ever female team entering the YFL boys league. This is an important step in the growth of the female game in the UAE.
