On January 21st DASSA Select’s under-15 basketball side gave its all against JAM Academy but went down by 28 points in its first representative match.
Fast forward two weeks and the improvement could not be more apparent.
At Nord Anglia International School Dubai, the DASSA side magnificently turned that deficit into a four-point win against the same side, recording a marvellous victory.
The astounding turnaround in just two weeks time shows the power of hard work and was credit to coach Jessica Ross.
Ross could not have been more pleased with the manner 10 girls from eight different schools pulled together to defeat such high quality opposition.
