School dance groups from across the UAE wowed the crowds at Dubai College on Thursday evening with some stunning performances in the 2018 Dubai Desert Dance.
The event, which is the brainchild of Georgina Williams and Emma Dawson (both of Uptown School), is the largest school dance event in the Middle East, with over 500 children from 22 schools showcasing their talent and hard work over the course of two days.
A unique feature of Dubai Desert Dance is the deliberate lack of a competitive element, which reduces pressure and maintains inclusivity for dancers of all levels.
The Gulf Youth Sport media team were in attendance on Thursday evening to capture action, group and individual photographs – click the link to check them out.
