After the announcement of the new 30×30 Dubai Fitness Challenge, Dubai has made it their mission to become the world’s fittest city by bringing the people of Dubai together for some daily fun group activities and classes. Starting on October 20, there will be a wide variety of venues offering different types of classes for both kids and adults, ranging from 30 minutes to one hour daily, from 5am to 8:30pm.
If you’re unsure of how and what to get involved with, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Here is a list of some of the upcoming fitness events/activities in coordination with the 30×30 Dubai Fitness Challenge, and ALL of them are free!
1. “Spartan” training workouts
What: Fun yet tough training preparation for the upcoming Spartan Race Challenge
When: This Friday, October 20 at 9-10am

2. Weekend Fitness Carnival
What: Over 30 exciting activities each weekend including yoga, cardio, boxing, rock climbing, cricket, basketball, and plenty more. There will also be a children’s fun zone with lots of fun activities for the little ones! To name a few; bubble soccer, ninja warrior course, and even children’s Les Mills classes for ages two to 12.
When: 20 October-18 November
Where: Safa Park, 20-21 October; Kite Beach, 27-28 October; Skydive Dubai, 3-4 November; Burj Park, 10-11 November; Dubai Festival City, 17-18 November.

3. Sunset Yoga with NRG Fitness
What: a unique blended yoga practice session combined with mindful discovery and heightened awareness. It will be lead by Goli Hashtroudi in association with Lorna Jane Middle East. The session will focus on opening 3 of your core Chakras through a series of back bends, twists, and forward bends.
When: Saturday, 21 October at 5:30-7pm

4. Golden Mile Galleria Fitness Festival
What: A wide range of fitness classes such as: “Fitness First Boot Camp”, “Fitness First HIIT”, “Yogia La Vie”, “Rebel Training”, “Fitness First Kids and Adults Zumba”, “Dance Pack”, and tons more! As well as this, celebrity trainer Kayla Itsines will be a special guest and will be hosting a fitness bootcamp, sharing her style of high intensity workouts.
When: Monday 16 October-Saturday 21 October.

5. Fitness Expo Dubai
What: One of the worlds largest Fitness Expo's that will include body building sessions, health and wellness classes, nutrition and supplements advice, and tons more.
When: Friday November 17 and Saturday 18

6. Kids Fitness Fusion
What: A mixture of Zumba, Body Combat, Body Pump and HIIT. This is excellent for all kids at any age level who are looking to build their strength whilst having fun with their friends and family
When: 20-21 October, 27-28 October, 3-4 November, 10-11 November, 17-18 November
Where: Weekend Fitness Carnival (Safa Park 20-21 October, different location the following weekend)
