The girls from Wellington International School emerged as the jewel in the crown of GEMS Education following a stunning victory in the DAPSA Girls Basketball Championship.
After an exhausting afternoon of matches, the girls from WIS came up against fellow GEMS school, Royal Dubai School. Despite a heroic effort from RDS, they could not contain WIS's pace, skill and power, eventually succumbing 22-4.
