du LaLiga HPC Dominate UAE’s Official Youth Championships as they Start Training Ahead of Annual Spain Scouting Camp

du LaLiga HPC sweep the board with a record 9 Championship Titles across several age categories

 

Dubai, UAE – du LaLiga HPC finished a highly successful football season, winning all nine official and major championship titles in the UAE, across several age categories.

du LaLiga’s HPC U18 teams were crowned champions of the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) Academies Championship under 18 category with an undefeated record. The team also went on to win the Gold at Dubai Sports Council Challenge Cup, featuring Dubai’s strongest academies and national clubs.

du LaLiga HPC U16 team were also crowned Champions of the Dubai Sports Council Academies Championship while they received the silver medal in the Dubai Sports Council Challenge Cup. Meanwhile, the girls team won Gold at the Challenge Cup whilst coming second in the championship.

Similarly, in Abu Dhabi, the du LaLiga HPC U16 and U14 teams were crowned Champions of the Mubadala Community Football League supported by Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The Abu Dhabi du LaLiga HPC U16 and U14 teams also won the Youth Champions Cup.

Fresh off the heels of their winning streak, du LaLiga’s HPC teams have started their training in preparation for its August Spain Scouting Camp.

They are joined for the first time by the best young Emirati national club players from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, who are part of the UAE national team, aspiring for the 2022 World Cup. These local players will be joining the du LaLiga HPC Spain Scouting Camp in August as part of recently announced partnerships between du LaLiga HPC and the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Sports Councils, with the aim of powering the professional development of high potential talent at the UAE’s National Clubs.

du LaLiga HPC has established a reputation for excellence since its establishment, winning the UAE National League Champions for three consecutive years. It is today home to 150 high potential talent, hand-picked from across the nation and has become a scouting ground for national and regional clubs and national teams. To date 15 du LaLiga HPC players have been invited for trials with Spanish LaLiga clubs and 10 players have been awarded professional contracts with national teams as well as regional and local clubs including Shabab al Ahli Dubai, Al Nasr, Al Ain and Nejmeh Club in Lebanon.

du LaLiga High Performance (HPC) was established in 2016 to provide the UAE’s top talents a pathway to professional football careers with a grueling, year-long training program in the UAE at the hands of UEFA Pro-certified LaLiga coaches, who deliver the same level of training as that implemented in LaLiga clubs in Spain.
