Three-time Bundesliga Champion Michael Rummenigge is bringing his global football academy to Dubai this half-term.
The former Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund forward will be hosting a weekend camp (15th-16th, 8:30 – 14:00) and a full week camp (17th-21st, 8:30 – 13:30) at Horizon English School this month.
Children that sign up will get to experience world-class coaching from Rummenigge, as well as fellow German internationalist Hansi Müller – who won the 1980 European Championships – and former Bayern Munich U23 Coach Hermann Hummels, who helped develop the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thomas Müller.
Additionally, Rummenigge will be hosting a meet and greet at the Grand Hyatt Dubai hotel on Saturday evening, and guests young and old are urged to come along to hear his stories and grab an autograph.
The Rummenigge Academy was founded in 1996 and now hosts over 2500 children a year at camps all over the world – including Turkey, Spain and the USA.
Children will be provided with a full Adidas kit to wear and will spend the days learning from those with experience at the highest level. At the end of the programme there will be an awards ceremony and get together for parents and children.
